PREVENTION FIRST AID/
FIRE FIGHTING
FIRE Not combustible. Gives off irritating or toxic fumes (or gases) in a fire.

In case of fire in the surroundings: all extinguishing agents allowed.
EXPLOSION

EXPOSURE
PREVENT DISPERSION OF DUST!

  • INHALATION

  • Local exhaust.
    Fresh air, rest.
  • SKIN

  • Protective gloves.
Rinse skin with plenty of water or shower.
  • EYES

  • Safety spectacles.
First rinse with plenty of water for several minutes (remove contact lenses if easily possible), then take to a doctor.
  • INGESTION

  • Rinse mouth. Give plenty of water to drink.
SPILLAGE DISPOSAL STORAGE PACKAGING & LABELLING
Sweep spilled substance into sealable containers; if appropriate, moisten first to prevent dusting. Then remove to safe place.
Separated from strong oxidants, strong acids.

    PHYSICAL STATE; APPEARANCE:
    WHITE CRYSTALLINE POWDER.

    PHYSICAL DANGERS:

    CHEMICAL DANGERS:
The substance decomposes on heating producing toxic gases including ammonia. See ICSC # 0414. Reacts violently with strong oxidants, such as ammonium nitrate causing fire and explosion hazard. Reacts with acids to form toxic gases including hydrogen cyanide. See ICSC # 0492.

    OCCUPATIONAL EXPOSURE LIMITS (OELs):
    TLV not established.

    ROUTES OF EXPOSURE:
The substance can be absorbed into the body by inhalation and by ingestion.

    EFFECTS OF SHORT-TERM EXPOSURE:
